Fertility Testing

What is Sperm Function Testing?

Sperm Function Testing is a specialized test that looks at many aspects of sperm appearance, quality and function, including count, motility, viability, and abnormal shape.

A person providing a sperm sample should abstain from sexual activity and avoid ejaculation for a minimum of 2 days to a maximum of 7 days before they collect their specimen.

We offer sperm function testing to our own patients and also to people who are not registered with the clinic. It can be ordered by an outside physician. Fees apply for this test.
