ONE Fertility – 2024 Financial Information

The current fee information for most ONE Fertility services are below and categorized into groups based on treatment type. Within a section, not all fees apply to each patient cycle, and the details will be discussed in greater detail prior to starting treatment.

The Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) provides funding to cover certain fertility treatment costs for eligible residents with valid Ontario health cards.

The Ontario Fertility Program (OFP) is a separate program to help reduce out of pocket costs for one in vitro fertilitization (IVF) cycle per eligible patient per lifetime. The Ontario Fertility Program also offers funding for fertility preservation and intrauterine insemination depending on your eligibility and funding availability.

Patients should contact their insurance provider regarding coverage for fertility treatment and medications.

Included in your investigations are the following tests, which are not covered by OHIP:

AMH (Anti-Müllerian Hormone) Bloodwork $80.00

Sperm Function Testing $250.00

DNA Fragmentation Index $450.00

Annual block administration fee $309.73 + HST
This fee covers some non-medical services and is non-refundable. This fee will be payable at the start of any fertility treatment and billed annually while a patient at ONE Fertility. 

Additional Fees:
Medication costs can be very expensive, depending on your treatment plan. Your extended healthcare benefits may cover some of the costs of your fertility medications. Otherwise you will pay privately for your medications.

Annual block administration fee $309.73 + HST
This fee covers some non-medical services and is non-refundable. This fee will be payable at the start of any fertility treatment and billed annually while a patient at ONE Fertility.

Sperm wash $625.00
Payable on the day of insemination.

Additional Fees: 

Medication costs can be very expensive, depending on your treatment plan. The cost of medication could vary based on your treatment plan and could cost as little as $150 to over $2000 per cycle. Your extended healthcare benefits may cover some of the costs of your fertility medications. Otherwise, you will pay privately for your medications.

Please note, Donor Sperm is purchased separately, through a Health Canada Approved distributor, and is not included in the costs below.

Donor Sperm Wash $625.00 (per treatment cycle)

Donor Sperm Receiving Administration Fee $53.10 + HST
Applicable for each shipment of Donor Sperm received.

Donor Sperm Rush Fees $265.49 + HST

If donor sperm received at ONE Fertility less than 72 hours before Donor Insemination, for rushed Health Canada Compliance check

Embryo Thaw and Transfer (FET) $2,200.00

Additional Fees:

The cost of medications can range between $5,000 and $11,000+, depending on your treatment plan, your dose and your body’s response to medication.

Annual Sperm Storage fee $451.33 + HST
Payable on the date of sperm collection with invoices issued annually. Annual storage fees will continue until a witnessed consent for final disposition is received by ONE Fertility. Contact ONE Fertility for more information. Fees are subject to annual increase based on the expenses of the costs of maintenance and liquid nitrogen supply.

This fee covers some non-medical services and is non-refundable. This fee will be payable at the start of any fertility treatment and billed annually while a patient at ONE Fertility. 

Treatment cycle including procedure $7,500.00

Oocyte Cryopreservation (Egg freezing) $925.00

Annual Oocyte Storage fee $451.33 + HST
Payable prior to oocyte retrieval with invoices issued annually. Annual storage fees will continue until a witnessed consent for final disposition is received by ONE Fertility. Contact ONE Fertility for more information. Fees are subject to annual increase based on the expenses of the costs of maintenance and liquid nitrogen supply.

Other Fees:
Medication: The cost of medications can range between $5,000 to $11,000+ depending on your treatment plan as well as your dose and your response.

Additional fees apply at the time of fertility treatment for pregnancy. 

Third Party Reproduction includes sperm, egg or embryo donation and gestational carrier. Fees are dependent on the treatment required. Each patient has a unique situation and fertility journey. Please contact us for more information.

Counselling services $200.00 – $250.00
Payable directly to Counsellor – some services may be funded through OHIP or reimbursement by personal benefit insurance.
